We seek the active cooperation of both students and parents in our collective endeavor to establish NBNSCOE as a center of excellence in engineering education. The teaching–learning processes at NBN Sinhgad College of Engineering are student-centric, grounded in learning psychology, and strengthened by a dedicated, “willing-to-work” team of faculty members along with highly motivated students. Academic and co-curricular activities for the entire semester are systematically planned and communicated in advance through a comprehensive Academic Calendar.

All departments at NBNSCOE are well equipped with the necessary hardware and software resources. The central library houses a rich collection of reference books, journals, periodicals, and digital learning materials, along with a spacious reading hall accommodating over 400 students, supported by qualified and experienced staff. The campus is enabled with high-speed 300 Mbps internet connectivity and advanced e-learning facilities.

Student performance is evaluated through a transparent and continuous assessment system based on well-defined internal assessment norms, including two unit tests during each semester. Teaching methods incorporate LCD presentations, group discussions, and various co-curricular activities, with performance reflected in term work evaluations. Expert lectures from industry and academia, technical festivals, workshops, and seminars are regularly organized to support the overall academic and professional development of students.

To closely monitor academic progress and address individual student concerns, each department implements the Local Guardian Teacher scheme, where one faculty member mentors a group of 20 students. This initiative plays a crucial role in shaping students into responsible professionals and good human beings. Sinhgad Institutes operate a Centralized Placement Cell for all engineering colleges under the Sinhgad umbrella, and we are confident of achieving 100% placement opportunities for our students at NBNSCOE.
